A little about us...

Well, we are two people..., male and female, we both, at sometime in our lives decided that somehow we were going to see the world.

We met each other at church... he had recently run with the bulls in Spain and was ready for more, and I only had 5 destinations left in North America to visit,  so we decided we should do it together... we started our journey together by getting married on a beach in Maui,  Hawaii....one of my final 5 destinations!
He asked me to marry him at the top of Haleakala at 3:00am, and we road bikes down the volcanic crater back to the beach where we were married, and then snorkeled two islands, swam with Manta-rays and then flew home!

Our first place together wasn't much bigger than a large hostel en-suite, and much less accommodating. We had flooding in the bedroom and water-fall flooding in the kitchen, bats and black mold in the walls, and lived on our oven and candles as space heaters when our heat wasn't on in the middle of the negative temp winter. We moved to a few other shoe boxes in Kansas city, and then to a condo on the Beach in California. Home was were we were, and every moment together gave us places to grow together, AND I would NEVER trade it for anything...

Getting married is such a whirlwind in and of itself. Time seems to fly by with out warning.
We traveled frequently through the states for business together, and decided that soon we wanted to have some little us. So, we decided to build our very own box, and out of the places we traveled to, we picked the mystical Land of Temples...also know as Utah. :-)

I visited Utah once when I was little, and remember loving it, and Curtis lived in Utah for a while during his college years, plus we have some AMAZING friends there and so..there we were, hanging with all the Mormons. We fit right it! We love the outdoors, we love nice people, we love the city feel and country living....which is incredible since we have both been city people.  Every now and then when I remember Utah is my home, and I'm surrounded by incredible people...I take in that fresh breath of air.

Well, enough of Utah!

Just kidding, but somehow all our stars aligned and the opportunity came to travel the entire world, and so we said goodbye to our friends and family for a time, and hugged our new house goodbye, bringing on a watchful house sitter, and left to take our walk around the world for 7-9 months....
